Shallow and skanky

Me and Our Lass just love being in ASBO, it means we get to do all shades of fun things.
We have always imagined oursleves as a duo that sits somewhere between the 90s TankGirl bombshells of Shampoo and the botox Queens Salt-n-Pepa. Finally we got to live the dream and lay a track down (thats musician talk for wail into a microphone as loud as you possibly can...thats how I understand it anyway).

Now, both of us are not backwards at coming forwards- but lets just say we havent got the sweetest voices in the flock. We never made it into the school choir and my mum said that if I ever tried to audition for X Factor she would drag me off the stage before Cowell or Cole could even comment. One time my dad nearly called the RSPCA cuz he thought a cat was being slaughtered. It was just me upstairs singing along to En Vouge. It was a damn good song y'allz. I had to let rip.

So despite our advice otherwise the boys of Yonni http://www.myspace.com/yonniville wanted us down to provide 'backing vocals' for one of their tracks. We did our best, after a few bevs. We already knew that we were one mind, but now we have discovered we are one (true) voice. We got harmoniez man. Book as back up asap- before our fee goes up. ''Extra extra read all about ittttttt!!!''

Props to Kid Acne, Dscreet and Sweet Tooth who took part in the 7 Styles for 7 Brothers show http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/event.php?eid=140235615129
down at the Archipelago Gallery
Its on till the 27th so go have a butchers.
We were buzzin off the Acne inspired Ouja boards (Yes/No/Mebs), the campsite style loo and learning Oscar's secret handshake (if we can do it, does it mean we're in the club?). We made Amy choke on her vodka and coke a few times (ASBO are not really sure how much is too much...)

Anyway, till next time.
We are ASBO, she of loads to give but little to offer
