Festive Frolicks

Please note...this blog was written before the clock struck midnite for the beginning of 2010-so its a teeny bit (16days) belated. Its still heartfelt none the less.
Already 2010 has been a rollercoaster for me and Our Lass-Ive been proper poorly, shes (finally) had her colonic irrigation.

Anyway welcome to ASBO's 2010, hopefully its gonna be a total riot, we already have tickets to see Kiss so this year is set to be a wild one. Get ya selves down and join in the fun- and as always- we're the wild cards, come and play the game with us!!

ASBO would like to take the time to say Happy New Year Teeth to all our fans-we know you're all for our festive messages like your Mum on Xmas day wi the Queen's speech. Only were a bit more like Channel 4's Alternative Christmas message- all blonde hair and burnt faces thought provoking, moving sentiments.

Me and Our Lass welcomed in 2009 by busting out MGMT Kids, and then proceeded to act like total children throughout the majourity of the proceeding months.  We've done so much that I cant fit it all on one blog- so here's a taster...

Played loads of fun events Tramlines (crap nite, shit music-anyone?), Remixed in Sheffield, Pride int park, threw a spoilin' (if not slightly premature) Halloween party (Zombie Tina TURNER). We jetted off to New York

-tried out second hand furs, ate the best mexican food ever created, boarded planes late (thanks to Jenny the BA hostess- you really were my angel in red lippy) , we licked pugs, licked thugz,there was a lost passport, and a few lost minds. 

Back at home; I set up a new blog, actually got told ''you were more fun in 2008'', believed it for a week, then went back to telling people to shuddd uppp.  Saw SantAgold, Little Boots, Kasabian, 80s Matchbox (definately not on anything), Beatards (NYC boyzzzz), Tinchy Stryder (oldest fans there, got searched and dissed all in the same queue), invited Love Fox to DJ with us (she accepted our Cherry Lambrini gift with bemused grace), got tickets for Kiss live , lent our vocals to a track (turns out we can harmonise), sessioned buddy tats to death (3 in 3 months- I think that's pretty good going..)

Attended weddings, and art shows (food's better at weddings...).  We became instillation artists (God Wears My Underwear- cotton undergarments, acrylic paint combination, ASBO a GoGo, 2009), and tattoo artists.  Buzzed all over conventions, graduations(super proud of Our Lass), had blood tests and broken knee caps.  Waved goodbye to some special ladies (miss you Rah Rah and miss you guys even more), waved hello to rooster tattoos...and generally had a massive time. 

Personally I would like to take the time out and tell everyone just how amazing my ASBO Lass is, she is without a doubt, a proper buzzing mate and I totally love her. Cant wait to session the next decade with her-ASBO style. Its gunna be amazing.

If you like Yezza, Li-Lo, Babes in Toyland, Fugazi, Pat Benatar (!), Talking Heads, Timbaland, Robyn or The Specials and dancing on a Friday night then you’ll like what the ASBO lasses are about. The ASBO girls say:”You’ll go to bed dreaming of this night, and wake up early.” Right then. Also the delightful Fresh Fruits has invited us to session a set at DQ 23rd of January. We cant wait, she cant wait- if by 'cant wait' you mean giggling nervously as I plan my end of the set list SONIC BOOOOOM!!!
